Cards being charged & info request

Hey Everyone!
Good news! The backer surveys have been locked and the cards are being charged! Which means I'll start sending out the digital rewards next week! Woot! That's except for the digital copies of the comic, which will be coming in January when all of the art is finished.
I did run into one little snag though. A handful of you have ordered extra add-ons but haven't yet answered the new survey question about how you want your names to appear on the comic's Thank You page. It's not necessary for that question to be answered to close out the surveys, but apparently it is necessary for it to be answered before your cards can be charged. I didn't realize that was the case, which is why I said in an earlier update that you don't have to do anything if you're happy with your name as it is on Kickstarter. So sorry about that! So if you could go ahead and answer that question, that would be super helpful. In the meantime, I'm reaching out to customer support to see if there's a way to make that question optional so you don't have to mess with it if you don't want to.
I apologize for the confusion! This is my first time creating these surveys in BackerKit, and it was probably inevitable that there would be a bump or two in the road. But I'm learning! And when my next campaign rolls around, I think this will all be a lot easier.

New survey question in your inbox

Hey Everyone,
I hope you're all having a good week! I wanted to send out a quick update in case there's any confusion about the new survey question that you might have seen in your inbox last night.
I'm sure you may be wondering why you're being asked to answer it if you've already completed your BackerKit survey. Ok, so here's what's going on.
It was suggested to me that I give you all the chance to let me know how you'd like your name to appear on the comic's Thank You page. I've seen some other creators do it and I think it's a great idea, since some people use a different name for their Kickstarter username. And I also wanted to give you the chance to opt out, if you don't want your name in the comic.
But to do that, because of the way BackerKit is set up, I had to add the question to the original survey, I couldn't just send out an additional question on its own. But the good news is, you should only have to answer that one question, you shouldn't be asked to answer questions you've already responded to again. And if you're happy with your name as it appears on Kickstarter, you don't have to do anything.
The deadline to complete all the survey questions, including the new one, is still tomorrow. I thought about pushing the deadline back to give you all more time to edit your names. But cards aren't charged for people who purchased extra add-ons through the survey until the surveys are done and locked. And that means I can't send out the digital rewards until the surveys are complete, and I didn't want to make you wait longer to get your goodies.
That said, I know it's not a lot of time. So if you strongly prefer a name that's different from the one that appears on Kickstarter, or you want to opt out, but you don't have a chance to complete the new survey question by tomorrow, feel free to DM me on Kickstarter by December 16 and I'll be happy to change it.

Hey Everyone,
To those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you have a great holiday tomorrow! I for one will be making like Wolverine.
I just wanted to check in and let you know that, in case you missed it, the surveys have all been sent out and should be in your inbox. The survey gathers your shipping address if you're getting physical copies of the comic and gives you the chance to buy extra add-ons.
Most of you have already sent in your replies. Thanks so much for doing that, I appreciate it! If you haven't sent yours in yet, you'll want to do that before the deadline on December 2 to make sure I'm able to get your rewards to you.
After all the surveys are in, I’ll send out all the digital rewards except for the digital copies of the comic, which will be coming your way around the New Year. And if all goes smoothly, the physical copies should be sent out in February.

Happy Saturday, everyone! Just wanted to give you all a quick heads-up and let you know that all the surveys have now been sent! So keep an eye on your inbox.
The deadline to complete the surveys is December 2, so be sure to send them back before then to make sure all goes well with getting your rewards to you :)

Surveys are rolling out!

Hey Everyone,
Just a quick update to let you know that I'm starting to roll out those surveys from BackerKit. I just sent the "smoke test," which is where surveys are sent to about 5% of backers to make sure everything is working and running smoothly. If that goes well, I'll get the surveys sent out to everyone else soon. So keep an eye on your inbox!
And ICYMI, the survey will ask for your mailing address if you're getting physical copies of the comic, and it'll give you the chance to purchase any extra add-ons.
So things are moving right along!
I also wanted to share with you one of Aimée's new pages of flats! Everything is looking so good already...I can't wait for the rest of the final colors! This is page five of the comic, so if you read the four-page preview on the Kickstarter campaign page, this is what comes next. It's where the cops find out about what Rosette has done. And it's where we're introduced to Bash, the main supporting character, for the first time (he's the one leaning on the desk in the second panel).
