Final colors are underway!

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all had a great holiday if you celebrate :) Around here we're still trying our best to finish all the delicious treats were were gifted. We've got a kitchen filled with pecan tarts, gourmet doughnuts, and chocolate-covered strawberries.

So what's the latest with No Spell Lasts Forever #1? Well, Aimée has finished the flats! Woohoo! Everything looks just amazing. The final page of the issue is a splash page and it blew me away! I'd share it with you here but it's a little bit spoilery.

So this week, Aimée is getting started on the final colors, which means I should have some exciting, new stuff to share in next week's update. Meanwhile, I'm working on the back cover and the Thank You page and also going over my lettering again to make sure everything is ready to plug and play when Aimée's art is complete.

In other news, we moved into a new house last week! I've got a pretty sweet home office and I finally have room to display my collectibles!

Beautiful back cover art!

Hey Everyone!

I hope you're all having a good holiday season. If you have any celebrations coming up, I hope you have a great (and not too stressful!) time :)

So I wanted to give you all another update. Aimée is on track to finish the last batch of flats this week! And then she'll be moving on to the final colors. I can't believe we're so close to getting the final comic out into the world. Next month, digital copies should be going out! Woot!

And I wanted to share with you Eze Di Savino's final art for the back cover. He also created the character art that I used on a lot of the promotional images during the campaign. He's really talented, and I've enjoyed working with him. I think his art really captures Rosette's bravado.

Hey Everyone!

I hope you're all having a good holiday season. I wanted to say a quick hi, let you know how things have been going, and share some new art. 

Aimée is continuing with the last batch of flats before moving on to the final colors. As always, her work is amazing! We're on track to finish the art in January, and I'll give you more specifics about a date as we get closer.

And on that note, here are the next couple of pages of her flats -- pages 6 and 7. And keep scrolling for even more art afterward!

Also, Eze Di Savino is doing the artwork for the back cover. Here is his initial sketch. The final art should be coming soon.

Digital rewards sent!

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to share a quick update to let you know the digital rewards have been sent! That's except for the digital copy of the comic, which will be coming your way in January, when the art is complete. And the physical copies are expected to be mailed out in Feburary.

So if your reward tier included digital rewards besides the digital comic, or if you purchased any other digital rewards as add-ons, you should have some goodies in your inbox! I sent the links to get all the rewards as Kickstarter messages, so look for a KS message from me.

If you have any questions about your digital rewards, please do reach out to me. I hope you enjoy them! :)

Surveys locked, digital rewards on the way!

Hey Everyone! 

I hope you all had a good weekend! I wanted to let you know that the surveys have been locked and the cards have been charged, which means I can start sending out those digital rewards! That's all except for the digital copies of the comic, which will be coming in January as soon as the art is finished.

There were just a few of you who hadn't yet answered the new survey question about how you'd like your name to appear on the comic's Thank You page, so I went ahead and closed out that question for those surveys. But if you would still like to change how your name appears, or if you'd like to opt out and not have your name appear in the comic, please feel free to message me on Kickstarter by December 16.

I'm going to start getting those digital rewards out today, so keep an eye on your inbox over the next couple of days! I can't wait for you all to start enjoying your goodies!
