Can we hit $3,000? + Another exciting campaign!

Wow, can you believe the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever#1 has reached over $2,600? If we could hit $3,000 I'd be so happy I think I would actually be elevated to a higher plane of existence. So if you want to help me reach my final form, share the campaign with anyone you know who likes indie comics, urban fantasy, or compelling women leads.
Ok, now let's take a look at another exciting campaign! TODAY is the last day to contribute to Snow Paw #1-2, written by Rob Multari, with art by Mog Park and Carlos Herrera, colors by Bruna Costa, and letters by Dave Lentz. It's a 19th Century Scottish female werewolf fantasy, and if that doesn't sell you on it then I truly don't know what would.
Cirilla (Cirray) MacKinlay is a strong-willed farm girl, born and raised in the Scottish Highlands during the 19th century, who dreams about a life of adventure. Upon discovering her Pureblood Monoki werewolf lineage, Cirray’s eyes are opened for the first time to the existence of supernatural beings and creatures of fantasy. With the aid of Silver Mane, a fellow Pureblood Monoki, Cirray must find her place in the world while training to master her lycanthropy.
And I want to take the opportunity to thank all of the new backers of No Spell Lasts Forever #1! Your encouragement means so much to me!
Well, that's it from me for now! Thanks so much for all of your support!

New stretch goal + a great campaign to check out!

Ok, so I just continue to be floored by the enthusiasm for No Spell Lasts Forever #1! Like I said in my last update, we've sprinted right past the two stretch goals that were planned for the campaign. And you know what that means? I'm adding a new stretch goal! Woot!
All right, here's all the super crucial info. We're at 88 backers right now, and when we hit 100 backers, we'll unlock the new stretch goal, which is a digital copy of Hexes #1, written by Simon Birks, with art by Ege Avci and letters by Lyndon White. Everyone who pledges or has pledged $5 or more will get it.
It's a 28-page supernatural horror comic, and here's a little more about it:
Brendan was just a boy when he fell deathly ill. Somehow, he lived, but then he moves back into a house he visited when he was younger...
Bad things happen all the time, right? Sometimes they're large and destructive, but mostly they're small and you learn to live with them. And the more you live with them, the more you take the strange and unnatural for granted, inventing reasons for the mysterious happenings in your life.
So if you want a copy of this awesome comic, share No Spell Lasts Forever #1 with anyone you know who's into urban fantasy, noir, or indie comics!
And I wanted to let you know about another exciting campaign that just launched today! It's AER HEAD 1 & 2, a surfer hero sci-fi/comedy, with writing and art by Mindy Indy. Here's a little more about it:
AER HEAD is the epic sci-fi/comedy series about Aereo Zephyr, teen surfer and lifeguard, who can sometimes see the future in his dreams. In issue 1, he predicts a solar flare will wipe out New San Diego -- can he save everyone in time? Aer struggles to grasp the potential of his power, but unwittingly unlocks a clue to figuring it out in issue 2!
Well, that's all I've got today! Thank you again for your support and encouragement!

Great news! Over $2,000 has been pledged ($2,473 to be exact) and we've unlocked our second stretch goal! Which means No Spell Lasts Forever #1 will be getting a paper stock upgrade!
The really mind-blowing thing is that the campaign just had two stretch goals and we sprinted right past both of them! But not to worry, I've got an exciting new stretch goal in the works that I'll be letting you know about soon (I know, mysterious, right??).
And I want to say a GINORMOUS thank you to all of the new backers of the campaign!
I really can't say enough how grateful I am for all of the support. Thank you for your continued encouragement!

Greg Capullo Cameo video winner chosen!
– Sun, Oct 16, 2022 at 03:11:25 PM
Hope you're all having a great weekend! Earlier in the week, I announced a Greg Capullo Cameo video giveaway. If the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #1 reached 70 backers by today, I'd randomly select a backer to win a Cameo video from Greg Capullo. Well, we knocked that goal out of the park, and we're at 84 backers! I just chose a winner and messaged them, so stay tuned for more as soon as I hear back!
I also wanted to give a little reminder about Concrete Arcanum, the urban fantasy anthology that Sara Setna and I have a story in called Olive and the Ogre. It's a 120-page book with a wide range of awesome stories from 35 creators. The campaign for it is down to its last 11 days, so if you'd like to support it, now's the time to back it!
And I want to thank all the new No Spell backers! I so appreciate your support, and I'm really looking forward to sharing the comic with all of you!
Well, that's it from me for today! Thank you again for the support and encouragement!

Greg Capullo Cameo Video Update!
– Fri, Oct 14, 2022 at 02:42:26 PM
No Spell Lasts Forever #1 just keeps getting closer and closer to that next stretch goal! It's a paper stock upgrade when we hit $2,000. We're now at a little over $1,800, so we're getting pretty close!
And like the subject line says, I've got an update on the Greg Capullo Cameo video giveaway. Earlier in the week, I said that if we hit 70 backers by this Sunday, I'd randomly select a backer to win a Cameo video from legendary artist Greg Capullo. Well, we're already at 78 backers, so this is definitely happening! But the good news is, since the backer won't be selected until Sunday, anyone who backs the campaign between now and then will be entered to win. So if you know of anyone who might be interested in getting a Cameo video from a member of the creative team that gave Superman what is inarguably his best hair ever (in Dark Nights: Death Metal), let them know about the campaign before Sunday night!
Also, since I let you know in my last update about Bullet Adventures, written by Randy Stone and Jordan Alsaqa, with art by Lara Kane and letters by Lucas Gattoni, I wanted to mention again that tomorrow is the last day to back it! It's a fun homage to Silver Age comics, and you can check it out here.
Last but definitely not least, I want to take the opportunity to thank all of the new backers of the campaign. Your enthusiasm for the comic is so appreciated! I can't wait for the comic to be out in the world so I can share it with all of you!
That's it from me for today! Thank you again for everything, and have a great weekend!
