New No Spell Art!

Hey Everyone!
I hope you've all been having a great summer! Just wanted to check in and give you a quick update about No Spell Lasts Forever #2.
I've been working on the Kickstarter page and I'm starting to look at potential launch dates for the campaign. I haven't settled on a solid date yet, but I should be making that decision pretty soon, and you'll all be the first to know!
In the meantime, Eze is continuing to work on the inks and I'm loving his pages so much! I wanted to share with you the lettered inks for page 2. You'll notice I changed the font for Lucifer's dialogue. I wanted something a little more demonic :)

No Spell Lasts Forever #2 is looking awesome!

Hey Everyone!
I hope you've all been having a great June! I wanted to let you know how things are going with No Spell Lasts Forever #2.
Eze is continuing on with the inks and everything looks amazing! I'm so excited for this comic to be finished because it's going to look so good!
Eze hasn't started with the colors yet but I've been working on the lettering. In the last update, I sent you his inks for page one, and I wanted to share with you that same page with my letters. Check it out!

Hey Everyone!
I hope you're all having a great week! I wanted to reach out because there are lots of updates to share!
The first one is a big announcement. Aimée Hawley unfortunately won't be able to continue on with No Spell Lasts Forever #2. I don't blame her at all, with her busy work and class schedule, I honestly don't know how she managed to pull off Issue #1 without just collapsing in a heap of exhaustion! But she's still interested in being involved, so don't be surprised if you see a variant from her at some point, or some promotional images potentially.
But the exciting news is, Eze Di Savino has come on board as the new artist! Eze did the gorgeous back cover art for Issue #1, as well as the very cool silhouette of Rosette for the front interior cover and the promotional images that I used during the campaign. So he was already familiar with Rosette, Bash, and the world of No Spell and he was able to hit the ground running.
He has been working on the pencils and inks and they look so awesome! Here are the inks for the first page of Issue #2. When he does the colors, he's going to add lots of flames and make Hell like a burning forest setting, which I think is really cool and unique.
Ok, the next big piece of news is that the shiny, new merch store is up and running! One of the stretch goals during the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #1 was designs for a merch store, and Eze has created the first one of those! It’s a very cool No Spell logo. He's got more designs in the work, so stay tuned! Here’s what the logo looks like on a t-shirt.
And the last bit of news I wanted to share is that I've added a paid tier to Killer Tater Tots on Substack! Anyone who subscribes will get the full digital version of No Spell Lasts Forever #1 sent to their inbox, as well as other exclusive goodies like get early access to new art and new completed comics, comics, bonus BTS videos, and if it's something you all are interested in, invites to paid subscriber chats.

I hope you're all having a good Monday! So I got a DM on Instagram from Leonard Yarbrough and Martha Mariot, the creators of the comic Witchcrafters. It's a sweet urban fantasy about two magical sisters. They asked if I'd be interested in running an add for No Spell Lasts Forever in their next issue, and I said yes!
Aimée created some beautiful art for it, and I wanted to share it with you. Check it out!

Hey Everyone!
I hope you've all been having a great April! Now that you've all had a chance to take a look at the digital and physical versions of No Spell Lasts Forever #1, I wanted to let you know that things are moving along with Issue #2. I'm hoping to launch the Kickstarter campaign for it over the summer, so keep an eye out for more info about that!
Also, I recently got a DM on Instagram from the creators of Witchcrafters, another urban fantasy comic with women protagonists. They asked if I'd be interested in running an ad for No Spell in their next issue. I read their first issue and enjoyed it, so I decided to do it! Aimée is working on the art now, and I wanted to share her inks with you. I'm thinking I'll probably also make this the header image for the next Kickstarter page. It looks so good, right??
